Bee

A helper node for commons curation.

Bee is for people who help maintain the commons. A Bee can watch activity, organize knowledge, flag uncertainty, and send hard calls to human reviewers.

What Bee does.

Watch the commons

Bee follows swarms, contributions, challenges, cases, and review activity so operators can see what needs attention.

Organize and flag

Bee can help sort records, summarize context, notice low-confidence decisions, and flag items that may need a person to review them.

Escalate to humans

When a decision is disputed, uncertain, or high impact, Bee should show the case to reviewers instead of pretending automation can settle it alone.

Each Bee is run by an operator.

A Bee should reflect the person or group running it. Operators can choose what it watches, how it flags problems, and when it asks for human review. Different Bees can make different tradeoffs while still contributing to the broader commons.

Community stewards

Use a Bee to keep an eye on the swarms, canon, datasets, and rules you care about.

DAO contributors

Route disputed or sensitive work to the people best able to review it.

Developers

Build on the curation and review layer as 1Hive grows beyond one preview node.

Run a Bee node.

Bee is for contributors who want to help keep 1Hive knowledge useful, legible, and accountable.
